The CV-22
Osprey is operated by the 352nd SOW from RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk.
The Osprey is an American multimission, tiltrotor military aircraft with both vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) and short takeoff and landing capabilities.
It is designed to combine the functionality of a conventional helicopter with the long-range, high-speed cruise performance of a turboprop aircraft, which gives it distinct advantage over conventional Helicopters
