Duxford's Battle of Britain show started off in bright sunshine but gradually clouded over, but it did not stop thousands of aviation enthusiasts packing Duxford's car parks to capacity.
The show started with the usual polished performance by the Red Arrows even though they were displaying with eight aircraft.
Later in the afternoon the Bearcat, Sea Fury and Mustang closely follow by the the Harvard pair, carried out there displays.
Speeding things up was the display by the Belgium F-16 Fighting Falcon, which carried out a fast, tight and impressive display.
Always a favourite, Sally B did several flypasts before landing and parking up.
The Battle of Britain Flight's Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane were next up finishing with the Fighters landing and parking on the end of the line of Spitfire's.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was the four ship of Hurricane's which carried our several flypasts.
Surely the highlight of the day was the sixteen ship formation of Spitfire's, which carried out some extremely close formations and finished with some interesting tail chases.
The show was closed by the Patrouille de France display team from the French Air force.
